The Sababas Project is a network of artists, who share the idea of using art as one way of placing sensitive social, political and cultural issues on the agenda as well as a tool for socio-economic development.

We are currently focusing on distributing the recently-released Sababas CD/DVD and raising funds to build the capacity of northern Ghanaian artists through small-scale follow-up projects.

Talent Hunt

Background: In 2009 a diverse group of artists and musicians from northern Ghana and Denmark came together to develop, perform, exhibit and share works of art adressing sociocultural and individual problematics.

These meetings resulted in exhibitions, audiovisual performances and workshops in a number of places in Denmark and Ghana, some of which you will find on this site.
